The 68th Venice Film Festival was a high fashion goldmine! An array of eminent names walked the red carpet in beautiful Italia. Kate Winslet and Keira Knightley made an appearance; as did fashions from Valentino, Atelier Versace and Robert Cavalli.
Kate Winslet arrived at the première of her new film Carnage, showing off her enviable figure in a taupe Victoria Beckham dress. Look at those heels! <3

Kate also attended the première of Mildred Pierce in another figure-hugging number from Stella McCartney. I had to do a double-take when I saw this picture to realise that Kate’s waist isn’t abnormally tiny. It seems the actress has found the ultimate slimming dress. The black panelled shift dress created the illusion of a tiny waist, while the neckline showed off her toned shoulders and the white tones on the bust made the most of her natural curves.

Kiera Knightley look unequivocally stunning, as always, in a Valentino haute couture floor-length, gold embroidered gown to the première of her latest film A Dangerous Method.
Actress Sarah Gadon wore a simple and alluring classic black dress for the A Dangerous Method première.
Evan Rachel Wood was in classic black lace from Alessandra Rich at the Mildred Pierce première, putting a sixties spin on the look with her choice of hair and makeup.
Charlene Choi looked gorgeous in this Grecian green number, following the jewel tone trend for autumn 2011, at the photo call for The Sorcerer and the White Snake.

Madonna wore a blue satin Vionnet gown to the première of her new film W.E. The dress was embellished with clusters of red butterflies which she matched a pair of forties style red crystal studded glasses.
Abbie Cornish wore a beautiful purple and black piece from Atelier Versace at the première of W.E.
I thought Cindy Crawford looked amazing is this red embroidered gown. Well, who wouldn’t if they wore Roverto Cavalli?
