The prestigious GQ Men of the Year Awards 2011 took place last night at London’s Royal Opera House, and many celebrities took to the red carpet to celebrate. I have to say, there wasn’t such an array of fashions; as many stuck to safe styles, the soft nude colour trend, and the classic little black dress. Although, there was one shocker…
Abbey Clancy wore a daring Emanuel Ungaro number, showing a bit more than expected, but who can blame her with a figure like that?!
Emma Watson sported the rock-chic look in an Alexander McQueen plaid dress, accompanied with a pair of black leather studded biker Christian Louboutin boots. Emma’s outfit was the perfect combination of girlie and edgy, in just the right amounts.

Daisy Lowe looked stunning in a Jexika black lace gown. The beautiful and elegant mermaid-tail dress had an open back, worked well with Daisy’s gorgeous curves. A side swept ponytail, shoulder bag and red lips completed her look.
Kylie wore a cute lace and satin bustier dress by the Autumn 2011 Dolce and Gabbana Collection. Dolce and Gabbana leopard print heels and Bvlgari jewellery were worn with.
Kelly Brook attended the awards with her boyfriend Thom Evans. She wore a glamorous nude dress with a plunging neckline, accessorized with a snake-skin clutch and chic bangles. Kelly’s look has to be my favourite of the night. It is so simple yet your eyes are unable to leave her.
Leona Lewis played it safe with a white, floor-length gown and bold red lips – the perfect combination. Her dark hair adds an elegance and highlights the softness of her beauty.
Alexandra Burke donned a black and white abstract print Peter Pilotto dress.
Lara Stone arrived in a simple orange mini dress, showing off those enviable legs of hers.
I fell in love instantaneously with Pixie Lott’s short hair. She looks so adorable! Pixie went for the little black dress, a popular choice on the red carpet, from LBD.

Charlize Theron was one of the award presenters along with Bradley Cooper. The actress wore a flawless Roland Mouret knotted blouse. She accompanied this with a voluminous pair of trousers, which unfortunately bought the looks x-factor down a notch. Bradley looked dreamy in his tuxedo.
The former model Yasmin Le Bon wore a very original gamine ensemble from Stella McCartney. To see ‘The Gamine Fashion Trend’ Click Here.
