The Lincoln Centre saw the likes of Oscar de la Renta, DKNY, L’Wren Scott, Ralph Lauren and a number of masterful designers take their creations to the runway for New York Fashion Week.

Here’s a selection of the highlights:-

The models of Alexander Wang took to the runway in tropical prints covered with translucent patches of netting and teamed with trainers.

Anna Sui joined Barila and other designers in the revival of the forties.

A gorgeous number from Band of Outsiders. Click Here to see the Band of Outsiders campaign starring Harry Potter stars Rupert Grint and Tom Felton.

Romance was in the air, for Calvin Klein, as light chiffon and silk pastels floated down the runway, radiating with innocence and femininity.

Diesel Black Gold

The edgy roots that entwine each individual look, makes Diesel one of my favourite all time fashion labels.

The creations of Jason Wu

A breath-taking representation of spring from Lela Rose.

Luca Luca successfully worked with a Grecian inspired bodice as the theme throughout the Spring 2012 collection.

An assymetric electricity encased the designs of Narcisco Rodriguez.

Rag & Bone seemed to have the threat of the April Showers in mind when they sent these to the runway.

Tommy Hilfiger

As you know, I’m a huge admirer of Vera Wang and she didn’t disappoint.

Victoria Beckham

Vivienne Tam

L’Wren Scott and Marc Jacobs closed the show on Thursday; and boy, was it one to remember.
