It was all frills and sparkles on the Emmys red carpet;
Take a look and let me know who you think was best dressed.
Cat Deeley in a sequin-embellished golden Monique Lhullier gown, with complemented sandy curls.
Christian Hendricks showed off curves to-die-for in a sparkly silver Johanna Johnson gown.
Claire Danes turned heads in an electric Oscar de la Renta number. The bright blue splattered against jet-black normally creates a harsh and shocking contrast, but this just glows with pure elegance.
Emily Blunt looks dazzling, wearing both of the prominent trends of the night. This floor-length gown with a sophisticated plunging neckline is from Elie Saab.
Gwyneth Paltrow pulled off a risqué two-piece black lace Pucci number with a beautifully toned stomach.
Heidi Klum wore a pale Christian Siriano dress with matching heels. If I saw the dress on the rack I’m sure many would by pass it, but Heidi seems to have a knack of pulling off anything. What’s that saying? … ‘She’d look good in a bin bag’?
Naya Rivera looked stunning in a sexy sculpted dress.
The actress Jennifer Carpenter a gorgeous, slim Tony Ward piece. The actress managed to pull of the high slit and skimpy bodice, making it spill with glamorous.
The awards seemed to illuminate with the colour red, and it wasn’t just the carpet, star after star followed in suit with Kate Winslet at the head in a fitted Elie Saab gown.
Katie Holmes stood out in a simple royal blue satin Calvin Klein dress.
Kelly Osbourne looked just plain glamorous in a J Mendel fishtail dress.
Lea Michele wore Marchesa down the red carpet, following the same colour trend.
The new ‘angels’ made their appearance; Rachael Taylor, Annie Iionzeh and Minka Kelly.
Nina Dobrev was undoubtedly my best dressed at the Emmys. She looked purely divine in a red mermaid gown by Donna Karan, and in the arms of the dashing Ian Somerhalder – who looked very suave in his Emporio Armani suit.
Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang.
X Factor host Paula Abdul made her appearance in a black tiered gown.
